Waking up Watanuki

He gave a faint smile.
He knew Doumeki would pay him back. It was Doumeki himself who had been so angry with him when he had found out that not accepting payments caused him physical harm.
A smirk played over his lips...a wish of this caliber though...that would cost a lot...
And well, after this morning he knew just what he wanted for reimbursement.

He caught Doumeki's hand that held his own and brought it to his lips, kissing his inner wrist.

"Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and imagine exactly where you want us to be."

He picked up the pipe and stuffed it with an herb that looked like a flower, lighting it and taking a long drag off of it.
When Doumeki closed his eyes he leaned into him, grazing his teeth over his lower lip before kissing him deeply and making him inhale the purple smoke.
His fingers tangled into the other man's hair and he sighed contentedly pulling away at last.

He opened his eyes and looked around at the place Doumeki had chosen for them, pulling his robe around him and giving a slight smirk.

"Interesting choice."

After all they've been through together, after all the eccentricities he's had to experience, it was no surprise that he didn't question Watanuki's request. In all actuality, this was probably just in his nature to act indifferently and resolutely. Also, he made a vow to stand by Watanuki's side, warding off the evil spirits that wanted to do harm to the mystical shop keeper.

Inhale, exhale.

He did as he was told, letting his eyes flutter to a close, and letting his mind wander to a destination. This was an honor to be able to travel through the dream with Watanuki.

His was still shrouded in darkness when he felt warm lips press against his. Watanuki's lips. He responded to the kiss with sincere pleasure, tilting his head sideways to savor in the radiant taste.

He wrapped his arms around Watanuki's waist, groaning into the kiss. His head began to fog with a smoldering, sensuous sensation. The colors, the sounds, the scents; everything was spinning and shifting, as if they were trapped in a kaleidoscope.

Their new location was manifesting slowly, but surely. Of course, it only seemed to take a few passionate, dizzy hours, when in reality merely a minute had passed by. It was unreal, stimulating, and intense.

Finally, he blearily opened his eyes to the light, hearing Watanuki speak. His love was nearby, thankfully. After he met Watanuki's gaze, he glanced around the world he had taken them.

Strangely enough, they were up high. Their view was monumental. They appeared to be atop an observation deck, in a city much larger than their quaint hometown. He had no idea where this place was. He imagined a setting, just as Watanuki had apprised, but this place was unfamiliar. At the same time, it was, like seeing an old television ad.

Tokyo might have been a good guess. However, this was almost like a fantastical version of Ikebukuro. While the buildings and streets were the same as it always been in retrospect, this parallel atmosphere wasn't begrimed and bustling with bedlam. An odd lavender glow had tarnished the vicinity with miasma and serenity.

"Is it? Where are we, anyway?"

Somehow, he was dressed, though he didn't remember ever putting his clothes back on. Since this was the dream world, he didn't think about it too intently.

He gave him an amused expression looking over the choice of clothes Doumeki had given himself before examining the world around them.

"We're in a dream but...whoever is dreaming this is from another universe."

He tilted his head and looked around, breathing in the air.

"This is Tokyo, but not our Tokyo. It looks like...Ikebukuro."

He cut his hand through the air and the robe he was wearing became more modern looking attire. He gave him a smirk, his eyes lighting up with mischief.

"This is probably the informants dream...or it could be the bartenders...but today, it's your dream to play with Doumeki."

He created a bubble from nothingness and balanced it on his finger as they walked down the street.

"What would you like to do first?"

He rose an inquisitive eyebrow, wondering about the informant and the bartender that Watanuki mentioned. His curiosity died away and he shrugged to himself, walking beside the shop keeper as they explored the city.

He noted Watanuki's change of attire, letting his eyes drift. Not only did Watanuku inherit the store and the magic that came with it, but also a sense of style. His attention was briefly snagged by the floating bubble on Watanuki's finger, but for the most part, he mostly looked on ahead of them.

"Doesn't matter to me."

Just as he said that, they stopped in front of a classy looking restaurant. The banner above read Russia Sushi. Peculiar or not, it didn't faze him. A hungry growl rumbled in his stomach, despite this being a dream. He thought maybe Watanuki would be starving, too.

He turned to Watanuki, expression neutral.

"You hungry? We can eat here if you want. Lunch..."

Although he said he'd be willing to wait until dinner, he wanted to sit down and have a meal with just the two of them.

"You? Hungry? THERE'S A BIG SURPRISE."

He waved the bubble away and hid a smile that was cracking at the corner of his lips as he let his fingertips just touch the other mans.

He watched the door swing open and a man...who he recognized as Simon walked out and greeted them heartily. They walked past a table of people in blue scarves and people in yellow...and a small group that was wearing no colors at all.

He smirked slightly and Simon nodded leading them to the backroom. One that was normally only reserved for two other people...the two most dangerous men in Ikebukuro.

He sat down in the back and ordered the largest tray of sushi they had, and when they were finally alone and the door clicked shut leaving them in the back room together, he laced his fingers with the archers.

"I don't think those two will be in today so I convinced she shop owner I looked like...someone else."
